Intimidated by woodworking? Looking to increase your DIY skills? Found a project online that you love and want to build, but you have no idea where to start? Join us in the Als Ik Kan workshop, and let us help you create your very own, handmade item for your home.
In our hands-on workshops, you will learn a variety of DIY and woodworking skills. We assist you step-by-step through each project, from raw materials to a finished, one-of-a-kind item. During each workshop, you will learn to safely use a variety of hand and power tools, and foundational skills that are applicable to numerous projects. You will leave our workshop with a finished product, new skills, and increased confidence in your ability to tackle DIY and woodworking projects around your home!
We limit attendance at our workshops to 4-6 participants, depending on the project. This ensures we are able to provide each participant with personal instruction and guidance. Our workshops are ideal for those with no previous experience, as well as those looking to build on skills they already possess.
About the Instructors:
Each class is led by Nichole and Bill who have 38 years of combined experience in woodworking, construction, painting, DIY, home remodeling, landscaping, crafting, teaching and parenting. As you can see, they don’t mind getting a bit dirty to get the job done!
